The Fife Arms partnered with Verb to deliver a unique website that reflected the rich culture, majestic landscape and colourful history of Braemar and Royal Deeside.

Described by the Financial Times as “Scotland’s Hottest Hotel”, The Fife Arms is a Victorian coaching inn that has been imaginatively restored. The hotel is located in the historic Scottish village of Braemar amidst the majestic landscape of the Cairngorms National Park. The Fife Arms appointed Verb Brands as their strategic digital partner to bring to live one of the most creative projects in luxury hospitality to date.

Meeting the design expectations of international art experts whilst creating a sleek UX on the Fife Arms’ new digital platform was a serious challenge for the Verb team. In order to achieve such expectations, we worked with the c-suite team at the Fife to deliver creatives loved by the owners, Iwan and Manuela Wirth, that would have to allow for a seamless user journey.


Alongside this creative direction, we developed optimal user journeys to drive online hotel bookings to a level which now allows the Fife to compete against long-established Scottish hotels within the luxury hospitality market. Besides the launch of the new website, our digital marketing team put together an SEO strategy which allowed us to utilise the website’s best potential and to hit ambitious traffic and bookings KPIs over the hotel’s first twelve months after opening.
