The Mayfair restaurant is split across two floors; Salon de Chine which is the stunning ground floor, showcasing the best of French Chinoiserie, and Club Chinois, an underground hideaway that engages your senses and taste buds. 02. THE BRIEF
The objective of Park Chinois was to show the multiple experiences that the restaurant offers, communicating their brand through the overall online customer journey and bringing a sense of it through its luxury website.
Verb Brands conducted thorough research that included deep understanding of their Analytics to review their current user journey, heat mapping reviews and re-looked at their existing brand guidelines that assisted in the overall brand’s storytelling.
03. THE CHALLENGE
Park Chinois requested a new web development project that would result in increased online bookings, improved SEO as well as better consumer tracking & insights.
Moreover, the luxury restaurant’s aim was to build stronger customer engagement by targeting the right audience, driving online restaurant bookings by both, overseas visitors and Londoners. This required an in-depth local SEO strategy to be implemented alongside the launch of their new site.
Their ultimate goal was to establish a strategy aligned with the brand’s ethos. From the visual identity through to the messaging, the digital platform and content needed to be similar to a movie trailer, reflecting the restaurants’ personality and experience without giving everything away.
04. THE SOLUTION
In order to increase their online bookings, Verb linked Park Chinois with Sevenrooms – a Restaurant Reservation System. We implemented a new content strategy that consisted of new contact forms, incentivise newsletter sign-ups and curated content. The SEO team actioned an audit that helped, update and create new local links and citations to improve the site score over time.
