SEO Account Manager


The SEO department at Verb works around a core goal of delivering an outstanding SEO product for our clients, structured around a strong vision. You will be within a supportive and collaborative environment designed to equip you with the confidence to realise your potential. 

You will own 3 to 4 client relationships. This means owning and delivering the roadmap of SEO deliverables, demonstrating a passion to deliver best in class service and drive excellent performance for your clients. You will use your strategic and analytics skills to expand the SEO roadmap with items tailored to boost the client’s organic search performance and ROI whilst building an excellent relationship.


To be successful in this role the candidate will have a keen appetite to continually learn and keep up to date in a fast-changing industry. The role is well suited to a self-starter who thrives on taking responsibility, ownership and prides on advancing their ability. They will have an inquisitive and curious mind with a passion for problem solving. Effective team-working is important; we enjoy supporting each other in tackling the wide range of challenges that a busy digital team faces, sharing knowledge to develop other SEOs in the team and celebrating wins together. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple industry verticals, whilst managing and developing Executives.

  • Formulating and executing results driven SEO strategies on 3 – 4 accounts
  • Creating and implementing SEO content strategies
  • Technical on-site optimisation
  • Plan, execute, and measure outreach across your accounts
  • Manage the creative production process on your accounts
  • Generate high quality links for your clients
  • Identify gaps and opportunities based on keyword and backlink analysis, and informing the relevant teams accordingly
  • Support the client with on-going audits and driving the subsequent recommendations
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc SEO (and related) reports and management information as required
  • Ensuring best practice use of tools such as Google Analytics, Moz, STAT and Screaming Frog amongst others. 
  • Help develop the skills of the Executive via training, guidance and support
